OTHER STOPS IN GUERRERO
The state of Guerrero is very large and contains over 500 km's, or 311 miles of coastline bordering the Pacific Ocean in the Southwest of Mexico. The places below are certainly worth visiting, especially if you are traveling by car. If not, Zihuatenejo is very easy to access and is really gaining popularity as well. I won't be going into too much detail on them past a general overview but it's just to be aware that they exist and are worth your time. There is some great surfing in the state and these places are no exception. Well, Zihuat itself really doesn't have any surfing, but the others. Another note about Guerrero is that it is home to the infamous Acapulco. I avoided Acapulco at all costs. I had heard nothing but bad things about the wilting vacation destination that was extremely popular in decades past. I also heard it's just not the safest place in the world. I just decided to skip it entirely. I don't know anyone I met traveling that said I missed a thing there.
