Northeast Guate: Semuc Champey, Flores, Tikal

I have lumped these three places together, because for the most part when people go to one of them, they are anticipating going to all of them. — At least from my experience. Not that they are all even that close to one another... well I guess Tikal and Flores are super-close, but anyways they are usually done as a package deal. It's such a trek from say Guatemala City to get up to Flores, that you just might as well stop at Semuc Champey on your way up.  They are all unique, interesting and worth seeing. I would recommend doing them all together if I were you. That's how I did it, that's how most people do it, and frankly if you don't do them all at the same time I doubt that you will ever do them all. That's just the best way to do it.
